Peculiar Children Update

My show was great. A lot of people showed up. I didn't take any photos because I was so busy talking to people. I am going to put it up on the site soon. Stay tuned. Meanwhile, here is my newest painting....

MAN OF THE FUTURE FINAL

I finished up MAN OF THE FUTURE. The painting was a bit of a challenge but then again they all are a bit of a challenge. The type is always hard to paint. I don't want the painting to be all about the type. I would rather not have type at all but the banners of the old days were all about advertising.

This video is a quick look at the final. I will post a good photo of the final after we have our show in about a month.

MORE PAINTING

I worked on the banner folds. These are going to be even more detailed.....Just starting to add some more detail here.

Also started to add some of the first details to the face of the ROBOT MAN. The brain is going to have a light from the inside of it. I just began to add some of the brain texture. 

The back foot needed to be fixed, so I redrew it and moved it back a bit. Here you can still see the pencil lines from my first attempt. It is the foot in motion so it needs to have a bend in it.

I made the briefcase much larger and started working on the back curtain. Here you see some reference taped to the painting. This will help on the curtains once I get into working on it.
